Objectives

Patient Care

Patient care begins with consultation in the morning and scheduling of surgery in the afternoon.

Medical Training

Local physicians assist in the surgeries alongside the US medical team and benefit from the training and exposure to new procedures.

Medical Procedures

The surgeries include glaucoma tube shunts, trabeculectomies, trabeculotomies and Gonioscopy Assisted Transluminal Trabeculotomy (GATT).

Cure Glaucoma Foundation has established a “Train the Trainer” Program (TTP).

This initiative is designed to teach the latest glaucoma related treatments and/or surgical skills to doctors in developing countries.
