Steve Love is President and CEO of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, representing 90 hospitals in North Texas regarding advocacy, patient safety and community service. He serves on numerous community boards, including the American Heart Association, Children at Risk, the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA, the North Texas Eye Research Institute Advisory Board and AIDS Arms, Inc. He also serves on healthcare advisory boards for University of Texas at Arlington and Texas A&M.

In a routine eye exam at age 23, Mr. Love was diagnosed with glaucoma. He used eye drops and gels successfully for over 30 years and then Glaucoma Associates of Texas performed surgery in both eyes about 10 years ago. He is thankful for the continuing, evolving treatment for glaucoma and is proof that excellent clinical treatment coupled with patient compliance can preserve and protect one’s eyesight. Currently, he is treated by Dr. Davinder Grover.

Steve and his wife Rebecca reside in Dallas, Texas and have a son and two grandchildren.
